What Does a Chemical Engineer Do?

Here, we must first make an important difference. Engineering Chemistry is a five-year Master of Science in Engineering programme, while Chemical Technician is a three-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering programme.

Both work todevelop, improve and optimize chemical processes and technologies. This can include everything from the production of chemicals and pharmaceuticals to water purification and energyproduction. Chemicalengineers use advanced boratory techniques and process control systems to ensure the efficiency, quality and safety of chemical processes. 

Study Engineering Chemistry

The engineering chemistry programme is usually a master's degree programme that lasts for about five years. There are also shorter university programs that last for about three years, then you become a chemical engineer.
