What does an engineer do in construction?
As a construction intern, you will be involved in planning, designing and supervising the construction of various buildings. You ensure that the projects meet technical standards, safety regulations and sustainability requirements.

Drawings
Assist in the production of drawings and make calculations with the help of an architect. Order drawings.
Mapping
Work on a complete energy audit of properties where the following was included, a complete mapping of meters and contracts, investigation of how onward billing can be optimized and mapping and proposals for optimization of subscriptions, which resulted in savings potential of SEK 250-300,000 thousand/year.
Modelling
Develop models of buildings.
Planning and design
For example, planning a park facility in an industrial area, producing documentation for how a filling station for biogas should be built, designing a recycling station for bin sorting including cost calculations and drawings. Study existing parking garages and develop proposals on how to build this type of house in alternative ways (cost-effectiveness, sustainability and profitability perspective). The task included consideration of environmental certification requirements and an in-house architect then helped and produced drawings of the presented proposals.
