Environmental Engineer
Engineers play a crucial role in addressing environmental challenges by developing and implementing environmentally friendly technologies, designing sustainable infrastructures, and working with alternative energy sources.
Environmental impact
Evaluate the environmental impact of the organization. For example, a department's carbon footprint, emissions from transport or how they can reduce the amount of waste in manufacturing. Work on registration and categorization of waste packaging. Conduct a minor investigation of the employer's internal environmental work and make suggestions for environmental improvement measures. System development of emission measurement in the transport sector; collect data and measure emissions and energy consumption.
Environmental communication
Review the environmental communication that exists and provide input from young people's perspectives.
Risk analysis
Identified risks in different areas of the workplace (safety/health/environment) and provide suggestions for improvement.
Energy efficiency
Assist in the analysis of how properties can become more resource-efficient. Energy audits of building stocks.
Review wind power agreements or contribute to water analysis.
Major projects
Participate in a project that involved disposing of contaminated water after cleaning boilers, work with employees in the chemistry and recycling department where they made various sampling (water samples), rounds and calibrations.
